Half Birthday Cakes we have made
A half birthday cake is its own thing, and it is not a smaller first birthday cake. The design is the joke: the cake is cut vertically so only half of it stands, iced flat on the cut face, with a big fondant ½ on the front and the baby's name beside it. Some parents want it soft and pastel with clouds and a hot air balloon; others want the full party palette because the grandparents have flown in. We also make round versions where the half is piped on rather than carved, if you would rather the cake feed more people than make the point.
These are small gatherings as a rule, so 1 Kg is usually right and pricing starts at ₹2,500/Kg. Every cake is 100% eggless and available in all 19 flavours. A half birthday tends to be decided at short notice, which suits us — order a day before and most designs are fine. We deliver anywhere within 25 km of our Sector 47 studio in a temperature-controlled cab, with the delivery charge calculated by distance at checkout. Send us the date and the baby's name on WhatsApp and we will take it from there.

What exactly is a half birthday cake?
It marks a baby's first six months, and the cake almost always carries a large 1/2 as the centrepiece. Some parents want the number alone; others want it alongside a theme they are planning to repeat at the first birthday.
Is the cake safe for a six-month-old to eat?
The cake is really for the family and the photographs — six months is early for sugar. If you want the baby to have their own smash cake we can make a smaller baby-friendly one with reduced sugar alongside the main cake. Do check with your paediatrician first.
What size do most people order?
1 to 1.5 Kg is the usual choice, since half-birthdays tend to be small family gatherings of eight to fifteen people. If grandparents and cousins are coming, 2 Kg is the safer size.
How much notice do you need?
A day is enough for most half-birthday designs. If you want a sculpted theme or a separate smash cake, give us two days so both get proper attention.
