Can you copy a specific bag I own?
Send photographs of your actual bag from the front, the side and the base, and we sculpt from those. Working from your own photographs is far better than a catalogue image, because the proportions of a bag in the hand are rarely what a product shot suggests. We make a cake inspired by the design; we do not reproduce brand marks for resale.
Is the gold on it safe to eat?
Yes. Gold on our cakes is either edible gold leaf or edible lustre dust, both food grade. Anything that is not edible — a wire holding a handle upright, a support inside a standing shopping bag — we point out at delivery and remove before the cake is cut.
How much of a handbag cake is actually cake?
Almost all of it. The body is stacked sponge carved to shape, so a 2 Kg handbag serves like a 2 Kg cake. The parts that are not sponge are the fondant panels and the modelled hardware — clasps, chains, buckles — which are edible but generally set aside rather than eaten.

These are sculpted cakes rather than decorated rounds, and the pleasure of them is the double-take. A handbag is carved from stacked sponge, panelled in fondant and finished with modelled hardware — clasp, stitching, chain strap, a luggage tag with the name on it. Shoe boxes work as a box with the lid tilted off and tissue spilling out. Shopping bags are built around an internal support with the handles standing free. Gold detailing is edible leaf or lustre, never paint. A dust bag, a card or a ribbon on the board finishes the illusion, and those small props are what people photograph.
Because these are carved and structured, they take more hands than a tiered cake of the same weight — 2 Kg upward gives the shape enough body to hold, and we would rather talk you up a size than have a bag slump. Sizes start at 1 Kg from ₹2,500/Kg. Every cake is 100% eggless and available in all 19 flavours. Sculpted work needs more than a day's notice, so tell us as early as you can. We deliver within 25 km of our Sector 47 studio in a temperature-controlled cab, with the charge calculated by distance — and these travel flat and boxed, so give us a clear surface at the other end.
