Pinata Cakes we have made
A pinata cake is a hollow chocolate dome — heart, sphere or bomb-shaped — that gets smashed open at the table to reveal chocolates, gems and a cake underneath. It comes with a wooden mallet, and the whole point is the ten seconds where everyone is holding up a phone. We make them in dark, milk and white chocolate shells, with the filling chosen to suit the age of whoever is swinging: sweets and gems for a child's party, dry fruit and premium chocolate for an adult. The cake inside is 100% eggless like everything we bake, in any of our 19 flavours.
Because a pinata is part cake and part showpiece, some designs come with accessories or a stand, and those are priced over chat rather than on the site — the Enquire button on any such cake starts that conversation. Otherwise pricing follows the usual ₹2,500/Kg. Most pinata cakes are ready with about a day's notice. We deliver within 25 km of our Sector 47 studio in a temperature-controlled cab, which matters more than usual here — a chocolate shell does not enjoy a Gurugram afternoon. The delivery charge is calculated by distance at checkout.

Questions people ask us
How hard is the shell to break, and can a small child swing the mallet?
The shell is thick enough to hold its shape but it gives way in a few taps with the wooden mallet that comes with it. Younger children usually manage with a hand over theirs for the first swing. Put the cake on a board or a tray before anyone starts, because the chocolate splinters outward when it goes.
How much actual cake is inside a pinata cake?
Less than in a plain cake of the same weight, because the chocolate shell and the filling take up a good part of it. For a small group it is plenty on its own. For a bigger party most people either take a larger shell or keep a second cake alongside, so the pinata stays the moment and the other cake does the feeding.
Will the chocolate shell hold up in a Gurugram summer?
It arrives set, because we deliver in a temperature-controlled cab, and a dark chocolate shell holds better in the heat than milk or white does. Keep it in the fridge until just before the smash rather than leaving it out on the table, and plan that moment for early in the party instead of the end.
Are the chocolates already inside, or do we fill it ourselves?
We fill and seal it here, so it arrives closed and there is nothing for you to add on the day. That means anything you want inside has to be decided when you order rather than at the table. Tell us who is swinging the mallet and roughly how old they are, and we match the filling to that.
