Jungle & Safari Cakes we have made
Jungle and safari is the theme parents fall back on when a one-year-old cannot yet ask for a character, and it is genuinely one of the best-looking cakes we make. Hand-modelled animals sit in buttercream foliage — a giraffe leaning over the top tier, a lion at the base, an elephant and a monkey around the side — with palm leaves, vines and a wooden-crate or safari-jeep board. Two tiers give the animals somewhere to climb, which is why so many first birthday safari cakes end up tiered. The palette runs from soft sage and cream to full jungle green.
Sizes start at 1 Kg and a two-tier safari cake is usually 3-4 Kg, priced from ₹2,500/Kg with most designs between ₹3,500 and ₹10,000 depending on how many animals are modelled by hand. Everything is 100% eggless, in any of our 19 flavours. Most designs need about a day's notice; a fully modelled two-tier scene is better with two. We deliver within 25 km of our Sector 47 studio in a temperature-controlled cab, with the delivery charge calculated by distance at checkout.

Questions people ask us
Can you match the greens to our jungle balloon decor?
Send us a photo of the backdrop or the balloon garland and we will mix to it. Soft sage and cream reads very differently from full jungle green, and a cake that sits a shade off the decor is the thing people notice in photos. Foliage, palm leaves and the board colour can all be shifted to match.
Does a safari cake have to be two tiers?
No. A single tier carries two or three animals comfortably with a foliage border around them. Two tiers simply give the giraffe something to lean over, which is why so many first birthday safari cakes end up that way. One Kg serves about eight to ten people, and a two tier safari cake is usually three to four Kg.
Will a buttercream jungle cake hold up at an outdoor garden party?
It arrives in good shape because the cab is temperature controlled, but buttercream foliage does soften once it is standing in Gurugram sun. Keep the cake indoors or in air conditioning and carry it out when everyone is ready to cut. If the party is fully outdoors, tell us and we will model the animals in fondant so they hold their shape.
Can you make a matching smash cake for the baby?
Yes, and safari is one of the nicest themes for it. We make a small cake in the same greens with one simple animal on top, so the big cake and the smash cake photograph together. It is priced as its own small cake and is eggless like everything else. Ask for it when you send the design so both go out together.
